Clip one moment, to the second
Give a start and an end between 5 seconds and 3 minutes apart, and Katto returns one vertical clip of exactly that passage, with no AI selection.
Sometimes you already know the moment. Clip a moment takes a start and an end in the source video, from 5 seconds to 3 minutes apart, and returns a single vertical clip that starts and stops exactly there. Katto does not pick other moments; the clip is reframed, captioned and titled like any other.
We checked it on a real job: a 52.0 second range came back as a 52.0 second clip. Three minutes is the upper bound because it is the longest a YouTube Short can be.
It counts as one video against your monthly allowance, like any other job. Today it is reached through the API, with start and end in seconds on POST /v1/jobs, or through a create link that carries both times. The Clip with Katto browser extension, waiting for Chrome Web Store review, will set them from the video player.
2 videos a month, no card. What is still being built is on the roadmap.
