How much does Creator cost?
Creator is €12/month billed annually (€144/year), or €15/month billed monthly. Both include 25 videos per month, videos up to 90 minutes, 1080p export, no watermark, and Miru AI reframe. No credits — 25 videos is 25 videos.
How does the free plan work?
You get 2 videos per month, forever, no credit card required. Each video gets auto captions in 99 languages (4 style presets), center-crop reframe, hashtag suggestions, and SRT export. Clips are exported in 720p with a small Katto watermark.
What's the difference between Free and Creator?
Creator upgrades you to 25 videos per month, 1080p export, no watermark, Miru AI reframe instead of center crop, and priority processing. Both plans include auto captions, 4 caption presets, hashtags, and SRT subtitles.
What counts as "one video"?
One video = one YouTube link or one file upload. Each video detects up to 10 moments — you pick 1 to 3 to render. Your quota resets on the 1st of each month.
What formats and lengths are supported?
YouTube links, MP4, MOV, WebM, and MKV files up to 90 minutes. Uploads up to 500 MB on Free, 5 GB on Creator. Katto works best with talking-head content: podcasts, interviews, tutorials, vlogs.
How long are my clips available?
Your generated clips are available for download for 48 hours. Download them right away — we don't store them permanently.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard in one click. You keep Creator access until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer team or agency plans?

Why is Katto cheaper than Opus Clip or Klap?
We run transcription locally instead of paying per-minute API calls, and use AI to auto-correct proper nouns in 99 languages — no manual dictionary needed. Lower infrastructure costs mean we can charge less without cutting corners on quality.
