Intro and outro cards on the timeline
A block at each end of the timeline for a title card or a sign-off, placed and timed like anything else on the clip.
Two slots at the ends of the timeline, one before the clip and one after. The plus button opens your Assets, and the video you pick lands in the slot.
Thirty seconds maximum, checked when you choose rather than at render time. Refusing a two minute file at the moment of the click costs you a sentence; refusing it at the end of a render costs you the render.
They sit outside the clip track rather than on it, because they are not on the same clock: a b-roll occupies an instant of the clip, an intro is added before it and moves everything else.
They play in the preview today. Exports will carry them once the renderer supports it, and the editor says so rather than letting you assume otherwise.
