Several music tracks on one clip
Use one track for the first half of a clip and another for the second: each music sits on its own timeline row, drops where your playhead is, and can be dragged or trimmed. They never play over each other, in the preview or in the exported file.
More than one music bed per clip, each on its own lane, each with its own position in time. One track for the first half, another for the second, is two clicks.
A bed dropped over one that is still playing cuts the first one short rather than layering both, because two music tracks at once is never what you want and discovering it at export is expensive.
Auto ducking lowers the music under the voice, and the music and voice levels are separate sliders rather than one balance control.
