YouTube tools: trends, video analysis, keyword estimates and title ideas

A new Trends page finds the videos beating their channel's average, breaks down any video, estimates a keyword's demand and competition, and suggests titles.

Trends lists what is trending on YouTube by country and category, sorted by outperformance: a video's views divided by its channel's average views per video. A small channel whose video took off ranks above a large channel doing its usual numbers, which is what you want when you are looking for something to clip or to learn from.

Paste a video to analyse it: views per hour since it went up, its tags, and a checklist of its title, description and other metadata. The checklist tells you what is missing. It does not predict ranking, and the page says so.

Keyword estimate gives a rough read of demand and competition for a search term: demand from the views per day of recent videos ranking for it, competition from the size of the channels behind them. It is not a search volume, which YouTube does not publish. Free accounts get two estimates a day, paid plans five.

Title ideas, on paid plans, suggests titles with AI for a video you analyse, up to ten times a day. Everything sits in the dashboard under Trends, and the public page /youtube-tools describes it.
