Katto

Turn every sermon into a week of short clips

The passages worth sharing, found, framed and captioned for you.

A sermon holds several moments that would speak to people who will never watch the full service online. Katto reads the whole recording, picks passages that make sense on their own, reframes them to vertical with the speaker kept in shot, and adds captions, so your media team posts during the week without spending Sunday night in an editor.

Why Katto for churches

Passages that stand on their own

Katto picks moments from what is said: a story with its point, a clear teaching, a strong closing line. Each clip starts and ends on a complete sentence, and you can adjust it with the trim handles.

The speaker stays in frame

Face tracking keeps the preacher centered as they move across the stage. Wide shots of the room are letterboxed instead of cropped, so nobody gets cut in half.

Captions for watching on mute

Most short clips are watched without sound. Katto captions in 99 languages, and corrects proper nouns so names and places from the text come out right.

Reach other language groups

On Creator, AI dubbing can voice a clip in 19 languages, useful for congregations with several language groups or a mission audience abroad.

Plan the week from one place

On Creator, schedule clips to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and the other connected platforms, or set posting slots once and approve clips into them.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the recording

Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link to the livestream, or upload the file from your computer.

  2. 2

    Katto picks the passages

It reads the whole sermon, picks the moments that stand on their own and scores each one, so you see which to post first.

  3. 3

    Review the clips

Clips come back vertical, with the speaker framed and captions burned in. Trim a clip or edit a caption in the browser if needed.

  4. 4

    Post through the week

Download them, or schedule them on Creator, so one Sunday feeds your channels until the next.

Frequently asked questions

How long can the recording be?

Up to 90 minutes per video on Creator, 60 on Solo and 30 on the free plan. For a longer service, upload just the sermon, or trim the recording before you upload it.

What about the worship songs in the recording?

Katto chooses moments from the spoken word, so clips come from the sermon rather than the music. If a clip does include a song, check that your church has the right to publish it, since platforms may mute or block copyrighted music.

Can volunteers use it without editing experience?

Yes. Katto returns finished clips, already reframed and captioned. The editor is there for small fixes, like trimming a clip or correcting a caption, not for building clips from scratch.

How much does it cost?

There is a free plan with 2 videos a month. Solo is €4.90/month billed yearly for 10 videos up to 60 minutes; Creator is €11.90/month billed yearly for 25 videos up to 90 minutes, with dubbing and scheduling.
